A to Z Blogging Challenge: F is for Fasting

This month I am participating in the A to Z Blogging Challenge. My theme is my Joy (sometimes Gratitude) List and each entry will be 53 words which is my current age. Enjoy!

It took many years and trying many different eating habits before I learned that fasting is the best, healthiest weight control method for me.  It is easy, doesn’t cost anything, can be done anywhere and best of all, for me it works.  I only eat between 0900 and 1500.  It is that simple.

  1. Fasting has become quite ‘big’ recently in the diet world. I agree though: it works.

    I don’t have a set “start” time for eating, because my schedule – and therefore my “get outta bed” time – varies. But I’ve found that I feel better, digest my food better, and maintain my weight better if I stop eating at 7pm. Since typically I am up around 7am, it makes for a 12-hrs on, 12-hrs off eating schedule.
